§ 138.07. Improperly furnishing firearms to a minor.

(A)

No person shall:

(1)

Sell any firearm to a person under age 18;

(2)

Sell any handgun to a person under age 21;

(3)

Furnish any firearm to a person under age 18, except for purposes of lawful hunting, or for purposes of instruction in firearms safety, care, handling, or marksmanship under the supervision or control of a responsible adult.

(B)

Whoever violates this section is guilty of improperly furnishing firearms to a minor, a misdemeanor of the second degree. (R.C. § 2923.21)
